Professional RPAS Pilot / Flight Supervisor

Laflamme Aero Inc. is looking for a Professional RPAS Pilot / Flight Supervisor for its aerospace division.

Job description

Working under the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), the main responsibilities are:

  • To pilot (operate) RPAS [Remotely Piloted Air Systems] as part of the LX300 development program;
  • To lead, supervise and evaluate all the members of the flight team;
  • To prepare, draft et perform flight plans;
  • To get and maintain flight permits;
  • To perform demonstrations (including training) at customers (both military and commercial);
  • To write technical reports.

Seeked qualities:

  • Interest for RPAS and new technologies;
  • Ability to manage and supervise employees;
  • Organizational skills : able to structure and follow projects;
  • Methodical approach;
  • Good communication capacities, both written and spoken;
  • Abilities for teamwork, both with colleagues and customers (including partners);
  • Great stress management.


  • 1st degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and/or equivalent;
  • Airplane/helicopter pilot (private or commercial pilot licence);
  • Experience on RPAS or radio controlled aircrafts (an advantage);
  • Military experience (an advantage);
  • At least 5 years of working experience;
  • Language (spoken and written) : English and French
